Slot Management

With slot management, you define available time windows for service jobs, manage capacities, and create slots efficiently via bulk creation.

Create a Time Slot

  1. Navigate to Dispatch → Slot Management
  2. Click Create New Slot
  3. Define the parameters:
    • Technician — Which technician the slot applies to
    • Date — Day of the time window
    • Start Time — Beginning of the window
    • End Time — End of the window
    • Type — Service, standby, or on-call
  4. Click Create Slot

Manage Capacities

The capacity view shows the workload of all technicians:

  1. Open Dispatch → Capacities
  2. Utilization is color-coded:
    • Green — Below 70% utilized
    • Yellow — Between 70% and 90% utilized
    • Red — Above 90% utilized
  3. Click a technician to open their detail view

Bulk Slot Creation

For recurring time windows, use bulk creation:

  1. Click Slots → Bulk Create
  2. Select the technician or technician group
  3. Define the pattern:
    • Weekdays — e.g., Monday through Friday
    • Date Range — Start and end date
    • Times — Daily start and end time
  4. Review the preview of slots to be created
  5. Click Create All

Note: Existing slots in the selected period will not be overwritten.

Edit and Delete Slots

  1. Click an existing slot in the overview
  2. Modify the desired parameters
  3. Save the change or click Delete

Note: Slots with assigned bookings cannot be deleted. Remove the booking assignment first.
