Forms and Form Builder

The Form Builder in VISOTASK® allows you to create custom forms for field documentation — manually or with the help of artificial intelligence.

Create a New Form

  1. Navigate to Forms → New Form
  2. Enter a title and an optional description
  3. Choose a creation method:
    • Manual — Add fields individually
    • AI Creation — Generate the form automatically
  4. Click Create

Field Types in the Form Builder

Drag fields from the sidebar into your form:

  1. Click a field to edit its properties
  2. Mark mandatory fields with the Required option
  3. Arrange fields via drag and drop

AI-Powered Form Creation

  1. Select AI Creation when creating a new form
  2. Describe the purpose in free text (e.g., “Maintenance protocol for HVAC systems”)
  3. The AI generates a form draft
  4. Review and adjust the generated fields
  5. Save the form

Versioning

VISOTASK® automatically versions your forms:

  1. Every change to a published form creates a new version
  2. Previously completed forms retain their original version
  3. Under Forms → Versions you can view the change history

Note: Published forms cannot be retroactively modified. Create a new version instead.
