Manage Bookings

Bookings are the foundation of your scheduling workflow in VISOTASK®. This guide covers how to create, edit, cancel, and track bookings.

Create a New Booking

  1. Navigate to Bookings → New Booking
  2. Fill in the required fields:
    • Client / Customer
    • Service address
    • Preferred time frame
    • Service description
  3. Optionally assign a form or checklist
  4. Click Create Booking

Edit a Booking

  1. Open the booking list under Bookings
  2. Click on the booking you want to modify
  3. Make changes to the relevant fields
  4. Save with Apply Changes

Note: Changes to assigned bookings are automatically communicated to the technician.

Cancel a Booking

  1. Open the affected booking
  2. Click Cancel
  3. Enter a cancellation reason
  4. Confirm the cancellation

Cancelled bookings remain visible in the system and can be filtered.

Status Tracking

Each booking progresses through defined status stages:

StatusMeaning
DraftNot yet released
ScheduledTime slot and technician assigned
In ProgressTechnician has started the job
CompletedJob documented and finished
CancelledBooking has been cancelled

Use the filter bar to find specific bookings:

  1. Click Filter above the booking list
  2. Select filter criteria: status, time period, client, technician
  3. Combine multiple filters for precise results
  4. Save frequently used filters as presets
